Juvenile Delinquency
Juvenile delinquency differs from other Crimes? Because It
Committed by teenage group. At this teenage, girls and boys are not mature
enough to understand the world .In such crime cases, surrounding always play an
important role. It includes parents, friends and teachers and these people are
responsible together with the teenagers who commit crime. Due to this reason
courts do not punish the teenagers like they punish the adults when they commit
a crime. There are separate juvenile courts and the purpose of juvenile
punishment is to help the teenager understand the importance of staying away
from crimes. There are various theories of juvenile delinquency and
various researchers have reported different reasons of delinquency. Most of the
delinquent teenagers belong from low social, economic or psychological
background.
What are the causes that lead to Juvenile crime? The causes
include family, personal reasons of persons, Peer groups influence and most impact-full the society he or she belong from. Family has influence on teenagers to commit
crime because in country like India most of the families faces the problems
like economic problems, psychological problems, social problems, moral problems
and the parenting style in families also one of the issues. Sometimes personal
reasons may lead to teenager behavior. The adolescent faces hardship in life
due to some psychological or physical problems that teenager going through. The
view of society toward the teenager behavior may effect negatively and can lead
to commit crime even if he belongs to good or reputed family. Those adolescents who are suffering from some
psychological or physical problem want to take revenge from society, friends,
family or peer group.
We as a society or family can avoid these type of crime by taking
the responsibility of fight against the causes. Proper quality education of each
individual in the society is the vital step in reducing such type of crimes. Education
help to build up the moral values and the understanding the good and bad in the
surroundings as well as social conditions of each family and society. Communication
gap should be filled between teens and their parents, so that the problem that
faced by teens will be discussed and not ignored which help to improve the
mentality of the juveniles. Incorporating these things the innocence of the juvenile
will sustain or the spectra will continue to dig vicious holes in our
surroundings….!
